So I have been assured that my warrent in California for possession of ecstacy will play a minimal part in the custody battle for my daughter. I live in the State of Oregon.. The charge is over a year old, but I do have a non-servicable warrent. Has anybody else been in this position? Outcomes??

You would probably need to talk to a lawyer for the legal implications.

I do know that anything can be said in court and if she adds this warrant to a bunch of other accusations, it could hurt your case some.

The State of Oregon Bar Association has a referral service (look in the yellow pages under attorneys or something). You tell them what type of issue you want to consult an attorney for and they set you up with a introductory meeting with a lawyer. It was something like $35 for a half hour when I did it and if you are organized, you can ask a lot of questions...take notes.
